Apologetics Canada ?Thinking? Conference 2015

The 2015 Apologetics Canada ?Thinking? Conference in Barrie, Ontario is excited to partner with local churches and ministries in their efforts to equip and encourage the body of Christ. They have designed the 2015 Thinking Conference with 20 sessions to answer some of the major questions that Christ followers ask about their faith including:__       IS THERE EVIDENCE THAT GOD EXISTS?__      IS SCRIPTURE RELIABLE?__      CAN WE DEFEND THE RESURRECTION?__      IS THERE REALLY ONLY ONE PATH TO GOD?__HOW CAN A GOOD GOD ALLOW SO MUCH SUFFERING?__      ARE SCIENCE AND  FAITH COMPATIBLE?__

The ?Thinking? Conference is based on the very successful and productive Vancouver Apologetics Canada Conference. It is an inclusive effort that draws on expertise from the wider church to help your community flourish. Their prayer, however, is that this event becomes more than just a conference. They pray that you will return to your church, and your neighbourhood, secure in the knowledge that your faith in Christ rests on the bedrock of truth. It is a truth that will help carry you through difficult times and empower you to reach out to others. Together we can transform our towns and cities.__ Our Lord tells us that, “the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.”

The recent Canadian study Haemorrhaging Faith estimates that about 2 out of every 3 young adults are leaving the church. In a study by Britt Beemer of America’s Research Group, the majority of young adults distrust the Bible and do not believe it is a credible document.  We have not adequately answered their questions about the Bible’s veracity.

May this conference give each person that attends a greater passion to reach the lost around them! I pray that those present will grow stronger in their faith. I especially have a heart for helping to disciple young people with the four building blocks of faith: prayer, the Gospel, the biblical worldview, and the big picture in the Bible.
See you there on April 24–25!
